More than half a year after the release of Pixel 3, Google launches their more accessible version. Pixels 3a and 3a XL are designed to provide excellent photo quality. In addition, the manufacturer adds unlimited disk space in the Google Photos service for photos and videos in full quality. Known from the flagship models, the glass gave way to the plastic. There was also lack of water resistance. To prawdopodobnie dokładnie ten sam aparat, z którego od miesięcy korzystają użytkownicy Pixeli 3 i 3 XL. Google przekonuje, że najważniejszy i tak nie jest sprzęt, lecz oprogramowanie. W Pixelach 3a nie zabrakło oczywiście flagowych dodatków w oprogramowaniu, w tym:

Pixele 3a i 3a XL mają zapewnić doskonałą jakość zdjęć. Do tego producent dokłada nielimitowaną przestrzeń dyskową w usłudze Zdjęcia Google na fotki i filmy w pełnej jakości.
Znane z flagowych modeli szkło ustąpiło miejsca tworzywu sztucznemu. Zabrakło ponadto wodoszczelności. Pixel 3a zachowuje jednak charakterystyczne wzornictwo, obejmujące dwu odcieniową obudowę unibody i spore jak na obecne standardy ramki dookoła ekranu. Na swoim miejscu pozostało także reagujące na nacisk obramowanie, służące do szybkiego uruchamiania Asystenta. Smartfony będą dostępne w czarnej (Just Black), białej (Clearly White) i purpurowej (Purple-ish) wersji kolorystycznej w dwóch rozmiarach:

Warto jeszcze dodać, że Pixel 3a ma jedną przewagę nad flagowym Pixelem 3 czyli gniazdo słuchawkowe 3,5 mm. A to jest żadkość w tych czasach. Najbardziej oberwało się specyfikacji
W Pixelach 3a topowy Snapdragon 845 został zastąpiony uboższym Snapdragonem 670. Pamięci wewnętrznej jest tylko 64 GB i nie można jej rozszerzyć. Funkcja bezprzewodowego ładowania została usunięta. Pixel 3a XL ma większy ekran 6 zamiast 5,6 cala i pojemniejszą baterię 3700 zamiast 3000 mAh.
Nad wszystkim czuwa najnowszy Android 9 Pie, który ma zagwarantowaną błyskawiczną aktualizację do Androida Q. Został on uzbrojony w dodatki Google'a, w tym nieobsługującą języka polskiego funkcję Call Screen, która wykorzystuje Asystenta do odbierania telefonu w imieniu użytkownika. Google deklaruje, że poprawki bezpieczeństwa będą dostarczane przez 3 lata.
